If glazers we're smart they'd fire Bowles because no one is coming to the games if that guy is retained. No trust in them even if they win games they will lose when it matters because they will get thoroughly out coached because everyone knows Bowles is not a good hc. Also anytime a owner goes against wishes of fanbase to save a dollar or two is a really bad look. Not everyone understands saving a dollar. They want results. I want results too. Fuck their dollar. You have to go the successful route and make sure people understand what that is. Then naturally you will have more of everything. Success is the right way to measure. Bowles really has no success proof. Everyone knows he lucked into the division titles because of how bad it is and it's even more like that now with the situation we have. I disagree. I may not agree with the take, but the team invested/invoked the policy, publicly. That allows folks to take issue with any decision to retain any hire - as it may or may not apply to this decision. It’s a matter that can be questioned.If someone attacks it, you can’t defer to racism.

There are multiple posts here suggesting Bowles was a DEI hire and at least one that he was retained over Coen because of DEI, I think.
White guys venting by anonymously posting racism is hardly a novel event. Neither is it a noble policy statement.
Its racism. FULL STOP. And I agree it is a distraction and an unnecessary one at that.
The organization made it an issue. You could argue that the coach was hired before the policy was put in place. You could argue that the policy only applies to community interest. Folks are assuming it is the policy and applies. Perhaps someone, possibly related to the team, could address how it is used.
But arguing that it’s racist to blame it on the policy the team adheres to is akin to tilting at windmills.
