Hired at Texas A & M by Mike Sherman. http://www.aggieathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205236095 My observations - Thin in NFL experience, with O'line and RB the only vets. Lovie is following in the footsteps of Tony Dungy. Not a bad thing, given all the limbs from the Dungy tree in the NFL...
Great and wonderful staff complete confidence this staff will do great things in the coming years. Last year's and this year's staff is night and day different!!!! For the better
Thanks for piecing this together, really pleased with this staff. Lots of young coaches and lots of experience.
Real solid staff with the lone ? Being Tedford. But that's a big one.
A normal looking staff...aka...NOT a staff that consists of 239052832094314 coaches...lolSchianoAll kidding aside, this is a nice looking staff. Lovie wasn't messing around.Excited.
I tend to think whatever Chip Kelly can do, Jeff Tedford can do too. And he only has to deal with the offensive side of the ball. The key for him to succeed is to get some offensive weapons in the draft, and pick up a FA or two on the O'line. If we load up on D, Tedford will struggle this year...

Boy, I hope we draft a TE in the 1st.

Give Leslie and Lovie their defensive pieces in veteran players in FA and give Tedford the young guys right out of college in the draft for the offense. That plays to our coaches strengths/comfort levels
Exactly my thoughts, FMBF. An if we get a shot at Alex Mack, I'm 'in' for that too...

Absolutely want Mack, just hope he doesnt get franchise tagged.
Only one that scares me is the strength coach...would rather have a nfl guy but it shouldn't really matter
A & M has cranked out a bunch of athletes lately, which is certainly encouraging. And, despite a lot of youth, we do have good overlap. On offense, the O'line coach, TE coach, and RB coach hava a lot of successes in their resumes. Tedford is the passing-game guru, having turned out multiple QBs from college. I expect he'll be hands-on coaching up both QBs and WRs. On D, we've got both Lovie and Frazier to cover all the bases. I also like that both the O'line and D'line coaches coached against each other in Browns' practices, so should know each others teachings well.
Nickerson sort of scares me a bit as the LB coach because he doesn't have coaching experience at this level. Always if not the smarterst linebacker I ever saw so he knows the game...just can he teach it.

he spent a year with Lovie and Bears as backers coach
