It's obvious that a few players had a very rough game yesterday. I believe most of them will bounce back(except Dotston, He's done and probably won't be a starter by years end)....
There were a lot of positives from the game yesterday, here are a few I noticed.
We seemed much improved on short yardage defense. Had a couple great stops yesterday that we haven't seen in recent years. It's going to be hard for teams to run right at us. Suh and Vita can move for big guys and chased down quite a few plays.
Lavonte David may be the most underrated Buc. Dude makes this defense go. His knee must be feeling ok, showed a lot of speed.
Defense did a good job of swarming to the ball. Nassib and White both had plays where they were stout at the point of attack and let other guys come clean up. Lot of gap discipline.
Ronald Jones will end up being our bell cow back. Looks like a different guy out there. I'd love to see what he can do when he gets into a little open space with the ball....
Biggest positive is that its a short week and the team has a chance to redeem itself on National Tv.
GO BUCS!
