According to PFT, Atlanta Falcons director of player personnel Lionel Vital will interview for the Tampa Bay general manager position
Nice.Looks like Ballard and Vital are the leading guys for the job and based off of what people around the league are saying, it doesn't seem like we could go wrong with either guy.
I still prefer Ballard as he already has a great working relationship with Lovie but Vital also has extensive scouting background and as worked under some really good GMs including Ozzie Newsome and Dimitroff. Really cant go wrong with either guy. We will see who the Glazers like better for the positionAlso, if we go with Vital, we steal somebody from a division rival
Yea I think it is down to four possible choices. Either Vital, Ballard, Morocco Brown or Rich McKay. With Ruskell and Angelo being bottom of the barrel plan D and E options.
Whoever we choose its good to see we are looking at quality candidates who have pretty good track records. I like what I have read about most of them so we really cant go wrong.
Count Ballard out...according to Jason Cole...it is a no-go since Lovie has final say...

Can probably say the same with Vital and any other good/respectable candidate. This COULD BE a big issue. Not good...we'll see...
@RUSSLANDE:Excited to see L. Vital getting interview for Tampa Bay GM's job. He is an oustanding man & great evaluator who would do fantastic job as GM

But more importantly, what is his skin color?
@JasonPhilCole #Bucs asked for permission to talk to #chiefs personnel exec Chris Ballard. I'm led to believe it will be turned down. We'll see

Does it matter? If he was trying to be funny, go ahead and delete it. Didn't work. Will never work. Don't need that garbage on the forum imo.
