TheAman:   "I'm stunned Bruce Allen is letting Brown interview.  The way the Redskins have their front office structured, you could easily give Brown the GM title without changing his current responsibilities at all.  Allen spend half of his press conference last week talking about how amazing Brown has been."Now there's a huge red flag. If that shyster is talking him up, its a trick. Stay clear the hell away.

I'm leery of anyone coming out of that weird situation, but then again, these candidates are hard to evaluate - who do they get credit for? What players did they botch? Hard to figure out in any personnel department, but especially one involving Snyder and Shannahan. One positive about working for Allen - he'll likely have been involved in a variety of roles as Allen was always keen to delegate things in Tampa.

Not surprised Gamble is getting a look, Lovie said he wanted to play like the niners, Gamble is from San Fran, would love that hire. Honestly all of these candidates would be good additions.

That's fair!! If Lovie is responsible for on the field play he should have the say on the 53 IMO

That is a feel good story, I assume if Lovie has power over 53 that also means he doesn't control FA either. The earlier reports now make no sense, it is hardly news that a coach controls the 53.

Thank God!  This is very good news and I do like we are interviewing GMs that made their bones evaluating and scouting players.  Just keep the current cap expert and we are set
