Jaylon Ferguson, EDGE, Louisiana Tech
Ferguson is a low ceiling, high floor edge defender who would operate best from a 3-point stance in the NFL. Ferguson doesn't have ideal athletic traits, nor will he be a quick winner off the edge in the NFL, but he's a strong run defender at the point-of-attack and could project to an interior rush role on long/late downs. He shouldn't be thought of as a coveted prospect, but in the mid-rounds, Ferguson can be a valuable extra rusher and rotational defender for an NFL team
Darnell Savage, S, Maryland
Darnell Savage projects favorably as a Cover 2 safety in the NFL. Savage has the needed athletic skills to be a starting defender in the NFL, although he'll need to be protected from his own aggressive mentality and learn some tackles don't need to be made. Early role should feature a ton of special teams and being implemented in sub-packages. Higher ceiling prospect in a thin Safety group, Savage possesses all the tools needed to be an eventual starter and play at a high level.
Jachai Polite, EDGE, Florida
Polite has the burst, flexibility, rush variety, processing skills and twitch needed to become an impact pass rusher in the NFL. With that said, his lack of play strength, length and mass limits his upside as a run defender. Polite projects favorably to a 3-4 outside linebacker role but hasn't been tasked with coverage drops so his ability there remains to be seen. Polite should see the field early in his career on passing downs where he should be an effective pass rusher as he develops the rest of his skill set to become an every-down option.
