Most analysts and fans project Derwin James if the top 3 guys are off the board. But...
With Dotson's age and health status, would it be entirely out of the question for us to take McGlinchey and start him at RT?
Bonus would be his eventual potential at LT if Donovan Smith fails to earn that 2nd contract.
I'm not saying we should do it. Just throwing out the idea.
For reference, Tennessee took RT Jack Conklin tenth overall last year. New Orleans took RT Ryan Ramczeck in the first round also. Both players started right away and made a huge impact, helping their respective teams get to the playoffs.
Could even see McGlinchey beating out Smith for LT, with Donovan moving to the right side.
