As for those who say the Bucs don't have enough ammunition to trade up - of course they do. They could trade their entire draft. They could trade future draft picks. It's all what they're willing to surrender in pursuit of Clowney or one of the Big 3 quarterbacks.

Watson may not want to call this nonsense, but I will.  Flat out ridiculous nonsense.  The same limit or lack thereof applies to all teams.  We could offer every first rounder for the next 100 years if we wanted.  But so can someone else.  You can play that game to infinity.  And you know what?  We still would lose because we are already missing picks where other teams have extras. In the really real world though, everyone has limits on what they'll pay.  And people who's wallets are already light tend to be less willing to pay than people with extra cash (picks).

Its tough to imagine the Falcons not taking Clowney.  They have their QB already.  Yesterday, Arthur Blank said both lines are in need of a rebuild. They aren't tough enough, he said.  So any team that wants Clowney would have to get ahead of Atlanta IMO.

You don't trade up for a DE.

Dolphins last year, disagree... If Clowney/Matthews slips, I'm down. Otherwise I'd hope for a trade

Exactly. However, to do that for a de, let alone a de who sat out..idk man. Doesn't seem to be a productive move for a guy who no one is certain about anyway, and to give up premium picks to get him...yikes.If we're going to waste our picks, why not just draft several qb's at once and secure the most important position on the team?It would be stupid for us to jump atlanta. If they do, it had better be for a qb. Otherwise, just sit still and look for that "can't miss" player, the bpa maybe.Lets hope lovie already knows who he likes.

True but if a DE can go number one overall that same players isn't worth a trade up? JJ Watt would be worth trading up for.
