When half the threads on the board are spam, there is a serious problem.
A really simple fix is having a minimum post count to start threads. But, other than offering some lip service, PR doesn't seem interested in fixing it.

Moderators will not be able to solve the problems when it's buried in the threads. It's easy to to do when its initially posted.It really need a program change to put a stop to it.So far the powers that be have chosen not to do either.

Agreed additional moderators are needed. 3SK does what he can, but I'm sure he has an actual life with actual things to do. There is other ways to kill this spammer stuff as well with some website changes.

I don't expect a moserator to me on here 24/7.....but when these bots invade the Redboard and spam us to death, and nothing has been done 24hrs later.....it's a bit aggravating. I think we deserve better.

Not a bad idea, but he/they could still hit existing threads. But even so, that would be some improvement.
Ah yes, good day to you sirs,It has occurred to me, on this the twelfth day of our twelfth month of the year and many days previous that we are having ourselves in fact undesirable postings upon our boards. I say sixes and sevens to it all! In my correspondence with the most premium administration with the Pewter Report faction, I can say that the plan as it currently exists, is to in fact manually approve ALL new members to the forums. I do know that more than one hundred spam accounts have been deleted currently, but unfortunately, these spam accounts have created sleeper cell accounts weeks, perhaps months ago, which aim to annoy us to no end. In due time, I expect that these accounts will run their course as they surface and we will investigate those we suspect to be among those sleeper cell accounts. The concept of challenge questions and minimum post counts have been made well aware to both Mark and those who are working behind the scenes on the forums.
Do something productive with your lives.

Yo man. I think PR went on vacation or something. Aint seen them address this in multiple threads/complaints. Hard to believe they wouldn't care. Gonna lose a lot of board members if they don't get this straight yo. Aint their fault this site is under attack but they need to fight back man.
I know that I have responded to all the threads I have seen, or at least tried to anyway. Perhaps one was deleted but I wouldn't know why that is. I did combine two today that were the same topic.

In closing, I do wish you all well and I hope that we can get through this. I will continue to delete spam threads as I see them and I'm sure the admins will delete the accounts as they do as well.
