I agree watching Goedeke get beat by scrubs in the 3rd quarter wasn't good. Mayfield played well which was the most important takeaway from whole game, more important than the final score.Overreact much? It's a preseason game. The Bucs didn't even play most of their starters.
Bucs starting right side played into the third quarter and has had trouble against Steeler third stringers. Not good.
Statistically, Trask the worst Bucs QB?
how did he look? Stats look like he couldn’t get the offense going
Hard to judge either QB since we played ZERO receivers tonight. Not even a snap for anyone of regard.

Trask made some nice crisp throws. Kieft did have a bad drop but the one bad throw Trask made as third and long which he tried to force. Hero ball isn't a good idea on third and long which resulted in an INT.
Other than that it was hard to judge Trask and the RBs because the OL was PUTRID. Penalties, missed blocked, man handled, bad in short yardage situations, etc, etc. Hainsey, Mauch and Goedeke along with some Leverett were whooped by the Steelers 2nd/3rd stringers.
Wolford looked really good!
Trask didnt look much different than previous years, but ive seen women's clothing with more pockets than he had. He really still needs a good OL to see what he can do.
Maybe next game he will do better since he is starting.
Wolford on the other hand, had a really young, inexperienced OL, and he made it work. I was quite honestly shocked. He was fast through his progressions and looked really solid working with what he had.
Bucs need to give this guy another look.

That is because the backup right side OL would be upgrades over the the "starting" right side of the OL if I am being objective as possible based on what I saw from this game.
also, lots of 1st down runs by the Bucs new offense.
hmmm…
Lolz @ this buffoon.
But it’s expected from someone that doesn’t understand how the game, including preseason, works.
It was the first game with a totally new offense. They ran three times up the middle on the first drive. If that happened in the regular season Bowles should be fired on the spot. But it's not the regular season. It's just a glorified practice. The Bengals got trounced this week. Are we taking them off the list for Superbowl contenders? Of course not. Overall it means nothing. Of course there are a lot of takeaways for coaches when they look at the individual plays and players on the film, but the final score is not significant.also, lots of 1st down runs by the Bucs new offense.

Vaughn got 8 yards on his first two carries and somehow ended up with four total yards on seven carries. So I'm not sure how that happened.
We ran for 66 yds on 26 carries what difference are you referring to?Seen a number of great runs, only to be negated by completely unnecessary holds.
You can see the difference in the zone blocking scheme.

Umm...that it's a zone blocking scheme. Totally different from last year.
The fact that within the first 2 drives, we ran out of 3 different personnel groups (including motions).
There was actual space and lanes that you didn't see last year.
We had nearly 30 yards wiped out on 2 bogus ticky tack penalties.
I mean, I get it.
It's a far cry from slamming Lenny up Hainsey's ass 20 times a game from the same formation.
The Bengals got trounced this week. Are we taking them off the list for Superbowl contenders? Of course not.
Right.
Totally comparable.
Cool story, bro.
Yeah interesting. The fact that the score of a preseason game was meaningless is a novel concept for people on this board apparently. I always thought that was common knowledge by anybody who knew anything about NFL football, but apparently not on this board. My mistake. But if you check around with people who know something about the NFL I'm pretty sure they'll corroborate what I'm saying. The Bengals got trounced this week. Are we taking them off the list for Superbowl contenders? Of course not.

Yards wiped out by penalties, ( whether we agree with them or not), don't count. Formation or different personnel groups don't matter if we still only get 66 yards on 26 carries. The only thing that really matters is results. What actual results did the totally different scheme produce? We ran for 66 yds on 26 carries what difference are you referring to?

If we don't fix the right side of the OL scheme won't matter at all. For quite some time now, I've been trying to get you to understand. Jimmy's and Joe's are far more important than X's & O's. This is exactly what I mean when I say you don't understand concepts. i'd be wiiling to bet you've never played any football at all.
