I don't often post OPs, I think my last was "would you trade Mike Evans for two above average OL" (question still stands btw), but I feel compelled to go on record once again.
The Bucs will extend Winston with a long term contract, franchise Barrett, resign Suh at a 3-ish year, lower salary, 6-7 million per contract, attempt to do the same (at a higher 8-9 million per) with JPP, maybe fail, and spend the upcoming draft going hard at OL early and BPA DL and LB (depth and to eventually replace LVD) later.
If there are steals at DB I could see us adding some depth. But I think "steals" ar RB could be equally valued. Better than BPA WR would be last, but possible targets especially if they trade ME13 which I still sort of think they should, especially in this "all in on Winston" scenario which would be predicated on the belief that Winston is finally about to enter an "elite" (or damn good, top 8 QB) prime where he will makes his receivers better for playing with him, rather than the other around.
The nostalgic, team spirit me wants to see ME13 stick around and retire a Buc though, so my heart leans that way.
Regardless, a very exciting time for Bucs fans... and nary a soul has mentioned Gerald Mccoy in months. Our best player of the past decade is nothing but a whisper in our memories. Hargreaves makes less noise in our minds than a silent fart. Good times.
I bet Macabee is smiling a toothy, freckled grin.
Go Bucs!
