So when looking at the draft order, it appears our best shot to trade up for Dalvin Cook would be with the Arizona Cardinals at #13. I strongly believe that Cook will still be available at that point as teams like Cincinatti and Carolina will defer to the later rounds for a RB given this year's depth.
However, after Arizona at 13, you have Philadelphia followed by Indianapolis, two teams that are starved for a game-changer at the position. I have a good feeling that one of those two teams selects the explosive FSU running back.
Arizona's spot at 13 is worth 1150 points in trade value while our pick at 19 is worth 875. We would have to make up 275 points to secure that slot and draft Cook.
Here is the proposed trade between Jason Licht and Steve Keim [keep in mind the trade wouldn't be hard to execute as Licht has obvious ties to Keim and the Cardinals' organization]:
Cardinals receive: # 19 overall plus the Bucs' 2017 3rd round pick and 2018 3rd round pick [291-440 points depending on where we pick next year]
Bucs receive: #13 overall plus the Cardinals' 2017 5th round pick
