Bucs defensive line coach recalling how the Bucs were PHYSICALLY dominated last year:
“Oh yeah, we talked about it right away,” Rodgers said of the need to match physical play with physicality. “I’m responsible for the run game and I think they had 38 carries for 206 [yards last year]. I remember it like it was yesterday.
“They kind of beat the fire out of us. We didn’t play well and it left a lasting impression. If we let them do it again, we’re not going to win.”
BEAT THE FIRE OUT OF US
can the current Bucs defense keep the 49ers from RUNNING all over them?
they gon beat the fire out of us again cause we're soft happily to be proved wrong

hope you’re proven wrong too!!!
but yes that’s one area where they have to do better to compete so even if we lose are we at least competitive
If Tryon is on the field, you can guess your bottom dollar Niners will be running perimeter runs right at him. Its going to be a long day

so maybe we see eve more Diaby?
My sources are hearing rumblings of Bucs trying to file for a forfeit week. They don’t want team losing their confidence off the titans win to not ruin rest of season
bucs will fall to 4-6 but it won’t be a crushing 5 touchdown blow out. Nope. Just a bye week loss baby
I stick by my prediction of 47-0 49ers. Canales has proven his system requires too much thinking. Mid-season and they still don’t know the playbook. That deficiency will be exposed by a more physical, dominating defense. It will be ugly. All the talk about talent on the Bucs offense is silly talk. If they were what there says they are they would not be under .500.
Yes there will be progress!
2022: 49ers 35 - Bucs 7
2023: 49ers 34 - Bucs 13

Miniscule as it is...
Miniscule as it is...
well, was it really that small?
we have an inconsistent journeyman QB and we were in the game for a while. Last year didn’t they run off 3-4 TDs before we scored?
may be wrong.
still a loss and it highlights the huge gap between the Bucs and actual top teams but we were not really run off the field like last year
McCaffrey is to today's Bucs as Barry Sanders was to the Yuks of old.....he owes part of his massive salary to the Bucs D players while he was a Panther and no Niner.

Your trolling would be better if it was at least grounded in some reality.
He had a TD, but his YPC were under his average and I think his pass rec yards were too? I think out RB's rec stats were better. The Bucs even stopped him on a key 4th down.
If anything the Bucs were killed by the 49ers passing game, right? QB with a perfect rating, multiple splash plays. . .
You didnt actually watch the game?
All you had to do before yesterday's game was look at the Bucs defensive rankings vs the 49ers offensive rankings to know the 49ers would be pass heavy. The Bucs multi-million dollar DBs have trouble covering most any teams receivers. They are horrible vs the pass.
