With the success of quarterbacks still on their rookie deals, is there any benefit to drafting a quarterback every five years and never having to pay out that monster salary. Carson Wentz, Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Jared Goff, Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield......
It would free up the money needed to build an elite defense. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl Riding an elite defense, and I don’t think he was as good as any of the quarterbacks mentioned above. Turn and burn him.
