A while back (All eyes on me) posted the winning percentages of all teams for the last five years to show that Mark Dominik needed to go...when i looked at the list i noticed something very obvious ,add the quarterbacks on those teams in those five years....and it just shows that for the most part no matter who is running the show the Quarterback is the only thing that matters! So you are saying that the Patriots, Saints, and Packers have such great winning records ONLY because of their quarterbacks?
And yet just yesterday Kap (a decent QB) beat Rodgers (an elite QB) becuase he had a better team around him.
Let's take a look at the QB's for the remaining teams in the playoffs:Peyton ManningTom BradyDrew BreesPhilip RiversAndrew LuckRussell WilsonCam NewtonColin Kaepernick Yup, it's a QB-driven league.
Glad we figured that QB is the most important player. Had no idea until now.
It really is THE most important thing...I hope there is an executable plan beyond 'evaluating (__insert name here) (glennon for now) and having a QB competition'... (not that they are going to tell us.)It has gotten sooooo old waiting for our legitimate shot at a Franchise QB. Certainly the most frustrating thing to me as a fan for all these years.

thank you. But let's roll with Glennon.
What does everyone think since all the other teams are in an arms race to build around QBs, we try and become a dominant running team and then all the passing teams won't have the personnel to stop us? Do you think that might work?

half of those guys were drafted outside of the first round no?
My opinion on Glennon has nothing to do with where he was drafted.

Barely. I mean...barely. That FG was almost smoked. Rodgers is like Michael Jordan on offense. Draft Manziel.

Kaepernick, early 2nd roundRussell Wilson, 3rd roundTom Brady, sixth round

Newton, Luck, and Manning were first overall picks. Rivers was 4th overall. Wilson was 3rd round, Kaepernick was 2nd round. Brees was 2nd round. Brady was 6th round.
Oh yea forgot Brees was round 2
How many truly dominant QBs are there in the NFL? There is a reason that ALL teams (not just the Bucs under Schiano) focus also on defense and, yes, even the running game . . . .the reason is true dominant, franchise QBs are rare . . very rare . . .and failure to get one when given a chance (Freeman, as an example) sets you back big time . . . . if your method is JUST to get a franchise QB (I.e., if that is the only thing that matters) you are going to lose a lot of games . . .which I guess gets you the opportunity lol.QB is not the "only thing that matters," its very important. If you can get a once-in-a-decade type player is may be the MOST important. Most teams cannot
