First pick of the 2nd. His size obviously caused him to drop. He is a unique player.
Manziel is worth the risk. He can do it all. He will sell tickets. Why wouldn't you love this guy as a QB prospect? Spare the injury excuse. It is not applicable unless a guy has a discernible pattern (Ras I~Dowling, Bob Sanders type stuff). Draft JFF. Let it roll!
Oh yea forgot Brees was round 2
Well, he was #32, which would be a first rounder today. I was amazed he dropped that far, though.
My opinion on Glennon has nothing to do with where he was drafted.
Didn't say it was. Just pointing out that you don't have to trade up to the top pick to find your guy.
A while back (All eyes on me) posted the winning percentages of all teams for the last five years to show that Mark Dominik needed to go...when i looked at the list i noticed something very obvious ,add the quarterbacks on those teams in those five years....and it just shows that for the most part no matter who is running the show the Quarterback is the only thing that matters! Excellent. Can't wait for our front office to sign/trade for one of the top ten on that list.Or hell, we can just draft a guy in the first and he should do.
I think lovie is gonna stick with Glennon. No way Manziel lasts to 7. He's probably going #1
Glennon is better than Blake Bortles
Pointing out Brees and Wilson didn't go in Round 1 is silly to be when you consider the ONLY reason they dropped was because of size.Manziel isn't going to go #1. It wouldn't surprise me if he's shy of 6 foot. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he's the 4th QB off the board. Scouts will fall in love with Carr. Bridgewater will go #1. Manziel will either be QB 3 or 4 off the board.

Cocaine is a helluva drug apparently.
I'm willing to bet anyone 50 cents, Canadian, that Manziel doesn't go #1.
You honestly think all 6 teams ahead of us, most of which being teams that could use a QB, are just going to let him fall to #7?
I'm pretty sure the references were to Manziel going #1. I do think it's realistic he goes after pick 7, though.
I think that bringing Lovie in and giving him control shows there is a long term plan this time around...and that could mean not going over the top to get a Glennon replacement if the scenario doesn't immediately exist.
