The Rams are in the pivotal position. I think they're in the Clowney slot at 2 overall. With a second pick in the first round at 13, they are primed to draft two great prospects. I think any team picking between 3 and 7 are in the running for a Rams trade. There's about 7 or 8 elite prospects. Rams don't NEED another DE.It might take a first next year. I don't know how I feel about that. I definitely wouldn't do an RGIII type trade for Clowney. Do you think a trade up for a player like Clowney who is a high risk / phenomenal reward player is worth it?If so, what would u give the Rams if they're the team you have to pay to move?

I love Clowney, but would not give up what it would likely take to move to 6 for him.  Let alone 2.  I could definitely see him becoming a transcendent type player, or out of the league in 4 years barely having made in impact on the field.  I see those two possibilities as being almost equal in likelihood as well.  I just hate moving up, and if we're moving up I would much much much rather do if for a guy we have identified as an elite quarterback (then I would give up whatever it took).  To answer your question I'd give up our 1st and 4th this season, with a 3rd next season.  I don't even know if that would get us swapped picks with Atlanta.

I want to trade up for either clowney or bridgewater but like threadkiller said, it would cost way too much. We'd have to go to #2 and that would cost way too much probably. I don't know what it would realistically take but probably more than what's fair especially now that clowney ran 4.5 forty

We don't have the picks to waste to trade up this year, and giving up our first next year to move up 5 spots is a waste. We have some MAJOR glaring needs on the Oline that this draft could help solve, so either an OT at 7 or trade down to get an extra pick and still get an OT in the first.

What is a realistic number of picks to move up though?

This is my thought as well. Imagine trading down and then taking a Lewan. Top of second go TE or pass rusher or speedy WR. Then say we picked up a third thanks to that trade. A quality center (and there could be three or four of them in this draft) could be had. That's a nice haul. Or LT, WR and then CJ Fiederowicz the TE in the third. Some nice options.

I dont think there will be a bunch of trading this year at the top.  Multiple front office people have said similar. "You're going to have to be really in love with a player to move up to get him.  Where this draft lacks in star power, it more than makes up for it in depth.  Players picked in the 4th round will be borderline starters.  You have to really like someone to give up multiple starters for him."

I'd send 7, next year's first and 2nd for Bridgewater.

If Red Board ran the Bucs we would be $70M over the cap with no draft picks and the same record.

I think the Rams stay put and take Greg Robinson.

I think they stay put as well.  Wouldnt be shocked if they took a QB either.  Bradford is not their answer.

I feel like those filthy Rams are always ahead of us. This is one of the first seasons in a while that the Lions aren't there to snatch up who we want. But now the Falcons are =(

I think they take a tackle as well...They'll stick with Bradford and get him some more toys in later rounds.
