The 49ers had a lost season in 2024. 6-11. Injuries abounded. I just cashed a nice over bet on their season wins at 10.5. I figured they'd recover from the injuries and do well with a 4th place schedule.

I have had this discussion with my kids recently. They are both huge Buc’s fans, raised as such. The question??
Would you rather be a 49ers fan, where you are competitive almost every year but haven’t grabbed eternity in more than 30 years. Or would you rather be a fan of a team like the Bucs where you have these bursts to greatness randomly and win the whole thing but most seasons you are just a mid-level team.
It’s been great fodder for discussion.
Last season aside, I do envy the 49ers consistency.
