1. You have to wonder what the long term plans are for Ryan Griffin?  Typically a third stringer is a development project if a team even opts to keep a third string QB these days.  For the Bucs it seems that they are holding onto him like he is gold for a variety of reasons.  But they are doing the same with Glennon.  This is probably influenced more by Licht than Lovie as Licth was first hand to see what a QB carousel looks like when he was in Arizona at the time.2. Donteea Dye saw some playing time and you wonder if he will remain active if Sheppard is healthy again.  It seems to me right now the lack of slot options is more of the issue for the Bucs than speed on the outside.  3. Brate, Fragel, and Lane have made Stocker expendable.  Like a cockroach that survives nuclear fallout Stocker is on another Bucs roster again (third different coaching staff) and is injured (surprise) again..  At this point I rather see the team cut ties with him and give a guy like TE Tevin Westbrook (on the PS) a shot. 4. The platoon approach with Gholston/Johnson is seemingly working out for the best for both players.  They have obvious flaws but they fill their niches when put in position to succeed.  Johnson looks more explosive when is fresh off the bench as a #3.  Gholston simply blows up running plays at the point of attack forcing runners to redirect.5. Masifilo I suspect will be back with the team in some capacity later in the year.  However, it is interesting to note how high the team is on Jeremiah Warren.  What will be more interesting to see is what the team does when Dotson returns.6. All signs point to the Bucs continuing the trend of dressing all eight DL for game days if the previous game was any indication.  McDaniel and Gholston will see increased playing time on run downs or short yardage situations.  Jones and Melton definitely may be carving a niche for passing down situations.7. The team most be really high on Jude Adjei-Barimah because he is on the active roster ahead of Frey who is on the PS and Frey has regular season experience.  It will be interesting to see if Adjei-Barimah sees some action this year.8. Interesting to note the PS has 3 WR's a TE, a CB, and  a RB (special teams emphasis)  The rest are trench guys (G, DE, DT)
