From Pat Yasinkas:
...and fans may have to be a little patient in the growing process. I'm guessing Tampa Bay fans won't mind because they'll have a coach and general manager who actually are following a plan.
...from 2009.
not following you...what point are you trying to make?
It's a reboot of a reboot of a reboot.
so did you want a year 6 to Dom's plan to rebuild the franchise?
I didn't want 1 day of the Dominik plan... It was a rash decision. It was supposed to stop the "rollercoaster ride". It's getting hard to laugh at the Browns. :(
11-21 and more to the point, following up a 6-4 start with 5-17 says it all. The man was a terrible NFL HC. The team was a undisciplined mess that excelled at no part of the game. He was given two full drafts and two big FA years. Hopefully the next coach and FO will run this team like an NFL franchise.
Yeah, we haven't been any better than the Browns and Raiders.
My contention is that If Freeman had put in the effort that he should have, the Bucs would have at least been a possibility for the playoffs. He sabotaged the team. He cost the team his experience at the position. No team in transition is going to have success with a third round rookie QB. It's too much to ask.

The last gasp of a Schiano guy..

Lol. No. As bad as Freeman was, the team should have started 2-1 had there been any concept of a 2 minute defense or ability to limit penalties. The ream didn't even know how to line up a tackle properly. Toes on the line my you know what. Schiano is a terrible NFL coach He was so bad, that even the Glazer family swallowed three years of a contract.

Had we won an extra game or two, I'd buy your perception. But Free wasn't the only problem and our second half adjustments or lack thereof were disturbing.
Odds are ... this happens again in a few years.
We are not a few players away on defense. We are a few coaches away. Watch the all 22. We are having schematic breakdowns. A few more players won't fix that problem.
LOL at blaming Freeman. He played 3 games.
Schiano had some very good qualities as a coach. His eye for talent was excellent. The problem is he lacked some very important qualities too. He was the complete 180 of Raheem. Raheem also had some very good qualities, but like Schiano he lacked some very important qualities. As funny as it sounds Raheem and Schiano were 2 halves of a very good coach. Heres to hoping the next guy is somewhere in the middle.OP I see where you're coming from in that Schiano had to deal with some crap that would have hurt any coach. The problem is that some of his shortcomings had nothing to do with the situation. Even a scrub does what his coach tells him to do. There is a big difference between a guy standing in the right spot and getting beat vs a guy being told to stand in the wrong spot and never having a chance. I may be overly simplifying it, but you get the idea. There is a reason the Atlanta coaching staff is in no danger despite an awful season.
Are the people who really don't like this hire watching the same games and paying attention to the same things? Schiano was a disaster. I called for that moron to get fired after he fooled us all with a 7-9 season last year and got blasted for it.
LOL at blaming Freeman. He played 3 games.
Didn't you know, Its Freeman's fault we went 4-12!!!

Read much?Comprehend anything?......Anything at all?
Blaming Freeman for anything involving Schiano when the only reason Schiano had any sort of success the first 10 games last year was because of Freeman playing out of his dome seems counterproductive to me.Any blame Freeman gets for this year was offset last year.
