The real world is a complicated place. Something that Mr. Moral Outrage's limited synapses can't grasp. Sometimes women, believe it or not, are actually aggressors. Women can actually *gasp* inflict serious harm upon men. Sometimes -surely not!- you can't walk away. Other times you walk away and, amazingly, people follow you and don't let you go. I've even heard a rumor that a woman killed a man once!What JDoub doesn't seem get is that the ancient code that protects women also has a requirement of women. Namley, to not abuse that protection. Nodody advocates violence upon women. But only a fool says that by being a man you forfeit your right to protect yourself from women if they offer violence. We're not talking the petty little slap here. You can suck it up when that happens, because they aren't really serious about it anyway. But getting hit repeatedly, spit on, punched, etc? Yeah, you have a right to not be subjected to that, just like a woman has a right to not be subjected to that from a man. Something tells me that if a man was verbally abusing a woman an she kicked him in the balls and sent him to the hospital, JDud would cheer it. Because he "got what he deserved". OTOH, a man is just supposed to subject himself to it according to him. Chivalry was a code designed to protect both sexes.
