An option for fixing our running game that not many people are open to in my opinion is to just patch it together for a season and target the future primary RB in 2018.
2018's draft class for RBs looks even better than this years class, and everyone is hyping this years guys.

I still think wed draft a guy this year but it could be someone like Mack, allowing us to move on from Sims. And pair Mack with Rodgers and Martin for a year and maybe sign a FA in this case. Depending on the FA it could mean cutting Martin possibly. Either way im not opposed to going with the current crew plus a Mack or Conner(if you want the short yardage with some bonus big play ability) so long as 2018 draft is the one where they target the real stud.
2018 could be Mack + Nick Chub, Sequan Barkley, Bo Scarborough, LJ Scott, Derrius Guice, etc.
