Bucs need to significantly improve the backfield. Peyton Barber was irrelevant, Rojo improved, and Ogunbowale was on the field more than he should have been.
I'm not entirely sold on Rojo overall, certainly not as an every down back, but I think we'll continue to see growth and improvement in 2020.
I'm glad we passed on Gurley and Gordon. Their injury history isn't great even with a discount contract like the one they signed.
I also don't think we need to use a premium draft pick on a RB.
Sign Frank Gore and Dion Lewis!!! - we can sign them for pennies and they're upgrades over Barber and Ogunbowale.
Frank Gore is a future Hall of Famer just like Brady. Yes, he's 36, but the guy is a machine who has averaged 4 yds per carry over the last 3 seasons. Gore would bring additional leadership to the team and show the younger guys how to WORK and be a pro. Not to mention how hungry he probably is to solidify his legacy and win his first super bowl.
Dion Lewis receiving capabilities and chemistry with Brady out of the backfield would be tremendous for Brady and this offense.
Rojo/Gore/Dion?
