Ok, so in a perfect world Dougie-Fresh comes to camp healthy and with his mind straight and we renegotiate his contract to like a 3 yr/$15 million + incentives deal because his contract is currently void of guaranteed money this year because of the suspension.

Worst case scenario he doesn't and we are stuck drafting a RB possibly as late as the 3rd & 4th rds and keep our fingers crossed we dont swing and miss.

Or Option 3 - we grab a FA RB as a possible workhorse back with Quizz mixed in and Sims doing the only thing he's good at and receive. There are several options out there that are younger than AP with tons of upside:

Eddie Lacy: Obviously we wouldn't want to sign him to elite $$ but I'd be happy with something around or less than martin's deal last year

Latavius Murray: I feel we shouldn't overpay him as well but would be a good between the tackles option for koetter's offense.

Jamal Charles: 1-2 year low money deal to bridge a RB we draft this year. (Obviously he's not any younger than AP but would be much much cheaper and when healthy he's a possible top back in the league)

Rex Burkhead: Some of you are like who? He plays for Cincy behind hill and gio. I watched him a ton in college (my in laws are Nebraska alumn) and he was dominating the backfield before he got drafted and Abdullah took over in Nebraska. That aside he's a young talented back with good cuts and quick decisions just buried behind hill and gio and can handle the workload. He looked good when the other two went down last year.

Andre Ellington: This guy started looking real good for the Cardinals then got hurt, Chris Johnson decided he wanted to play some football and ran away with the job only to be beat out by David Johnson
