With the addition of Brady and resigning top defensive players the Buccaneers are set to draft BPA in the upcoming draft. Sitting nice at 14 one of the top 4 tackles could fall due to surging QBs and WRs.
14th. Andrew Thomas Georgia: 6’5 320 mean run blocker setting up another 1st day pick D’Andre Swift for big runs. Agile big man with nfl ready pass blocking talent. Adding Thomas will bring plus run blocking to the offensive line early on at RT.
45th. Isaiah Wilson Georgia: another massive linemen from the Bulldogs standing at 6’6 350 Wilson also paved the way for Swift. Big mover in the run game and a mean streak to finish plays.
Perfect situation for Wilson with Joe Haeg serving as veteran leadership and Thomas starting at RT eventually replacing D.Smith allowing Wilson a good year of seasoning before sliding in at RT.
76th. Clyde Edwards-Helaire LSU: With the usual run on offensive linemen late 1st early 2nd round Tampa had to grab Wilson early to solidify the unit up front.
Clyde is a RB coming in 3rd down ready and set to spilt time with Jones on early downs. Showing elite vision along with above average one cut ability Clyde is the ideal fit for Tampa.
This late in the draft safety is not really an option. Current starters Edwards and Whitehead are better than anyone available at this point. With that being said focus should be WR or Pass Rush and with two 4th round picks two positions can be filled.
117th. Bradlee Anae Utah: 6’3 257 Anae is a pass rush specialist with limitation against the run. With 13 sacks to end the year there is a good chance he could be gone before this pick. Looking back Licht has shown a tendency to trade up using late round picks in the 3rd and 4th round.
139th. Donovan Peoples-Jones Michigan: 6’2 208 big WR could be another Godwin type WR in the pros. He might drop due to inconsistent hands and lack of production at Michigan. Although he will suffer from drops early in his career that won’t stop him from starting his rookie year in the slot.
161st. Kevin Davidson Princeton: 6’4 224 smart QB can study under Brady.
194th. J.J Taylor Arizona: Small back with Vision and toughness.
