Remember how people used to whine about the team only getting into the playoffs but not being able to win games, post-2003?  How losing playoff games was indicative of a coach's failings?  Man, those were good times.

That was never me. As long as we are in the playoff hunt every December and actually make the post season every few years.....I'm happy. I'm not a Super Bowl or bust type fan. As long as we are competitive and entertaining every year, then I'm a satisfied customer.

resorting to gimmick plays and failing like the faux tough guy he is.

This is what bothers me. Greg is suppose to be this old school guy that keeps it simple and preaches executing well.....yet we keep doing all this college trickery. It was great for a game when it was totally unexpected. The TD passes to our LT or the RB pass or the multiple surprise onside kicks....but like I said then, it is not sustainable. You can't count on trick plays to get your victories, especially when it has become your MO to use trick plays when you are desperate. This Sunday we were down by 9 points with about four and half minutes to go. How about just running a hurry up two minute offense and trying to score a TD with superior execution? I mean, the only time we looked good on offense all day was the two times we ran the hurry up....but when the game is on the line we rather try some trickery nonsense than give our offense the chance to earn a comeback win? It's just bad coaching, but it fits because this staff does this same crap every week. Bad clock management, bad play calling, sloppy fundamentals, a ridiculous amount of penalties, wasted time outs, the inability to make half time adjustments to the game plan. It is the norm with these clowns. I have seen enough. I've heard enough excuses. Tampa deserves better.

And what did it get us? That fourth win could be the difference between drafting third and seventh. That is potentially huge. 4-12 and drafting seventh?  Gonna have to do some research. That might be the worst drafting spot for a record that bad since they went to the 16-game schedule.

And people would complain about Gruden non-stop.  I understand you aren't going to make the Super Bowl every year but BUIDLING towards making a SB run is what I am looking for...are we making progress?  IMHO, we are looking, at best 6-10/4-12 in the fifth year post-Gruden.  That is f ing pathetic.  Heads need to roll and roll soon.  I don't need a third year to KNOW that Schiano isn't cut out for the big time.  Send him back to Rutgers,

People complained about Gruden and Allen because they sucked at drafting. We never had any young studs to fall in love with. All they did was slowly pick off our heroes and replace them with washed up old coots from other clubs...mainly the Raiders. They ruined the team and Gruden's amazing offense never happened. He couldn't even figure out how two get our two best WRs on the field at the same time! It got old and people had a right to complain. I know I was certainly ready for a change.

Can't wait until the we hire a new GM, new coach, new coordinators, new QB......and read Anamoly's crybaby response about how this organization is a joke for hiring/signing/drafting insert name hereSeriously, there is nothing else this guy can talk about. I think Dominik keyed his car and Schiano stole his prom date.

I wear my emotions on my sleeve...that is sometimes good and sometimes bad.  I'm sick and tired of the excuses and the poor coaching hires.  Am I acting unreasonable?

Wrong. You wear your emotion on your sleeve. That emotion being absolute hate for this organization. You have ZERO to add to any conversation. You're a broken record that spews immature crap. We get it. You want the whole thing blown up. Why the need to consistently repeat this in hundreds of threads? When tasked to provide solutions, you tuck tail and head for the hills. You, I, no one that's not named Glazer at OBP can control any of this. So why all the anger, champ? If you hate this team so much, then pick another organization to follow and find some much needed enjoyment for your life. Based on ALL of your posts, you seriously need it.

How much enjoyment have you gotten out of being a fan of this team over the last 5 years?  Or even the last 10? Just curious.

I don't think we are asking for superbowls, We are tired of looking like **CENSORED**ing clowns out there. is that to much to ask for?

Apparently our sanctimonious friend here thinks so.

I don't think we look like clowns out there... I actually enjoy watching this team

Hate to break it to you, but we do look like clowns out there.  And that's the problem.  It's not just about the record (though the trolls and ranters can't get past that).  Yes, a lot of it was Freeman's fault, especially in the record.  But how we play is not Freeman or anything else.  We are sloppy and inconsistent and coaching seems to keep having us do all the wrong things at the wrong times.

This is the biggest lie on this board and the only reason Schiano has a pulse. Everyone seems to have forgotten that Freeman led a late game drive to take the lead against the Jets with THIRTY EIGHT SECONDS left! How that one was on him, only Schiano knows. Freeman leads a late game drive against the Saints. A drive where Schiano calls a run play on 3rd and 6 when a first down would have sealed the deal. Oh, and we missed a 47 yard field goal that would have forced the Saints to score a touchdown in 1:06. And you forget VJ's td being called back for a penalty in that game.  So no, we can't actually blame Freeman for those losses although many have been convinced by Schiano that it was all on Freeman. Call me an apologist if you want, but at the end of the day, Freeman played well enough for us to have won 2 out of the 3 games he started. We were told Glennon gave us the best chance to win. Do we really believe that?
