31. Seattle Seahawks - Cyrus Kouandjio - OT - Bama.OL was a mess this last year.
32. Denver Broncos take Marcus Robinson CB FloridaChamp Bailey, Q. Jammer,....an injection of youth is needed in the DB room.
Round 1 is in the books, winners and losers before we start round 2?1. Hou - Clowney2. St. L - Matthews3. Jax - Bridgewater4. Cle - Bortles5. Oak - Manziel6. Atl - Barr7. TB - Watkins8. Minn - Carr9. Winners: The Bucs, of course. Sammy, along with VJax and Mike Will are set to become one of the most dangerous receiver trios in the league. Detroit Lions: Evans with Megatron will be ridiculous.
Cleveland's draft is reminiscent of Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn....another nice offensive pairing of Bortles and Benjamin.Carolina getting Lee that late, they would be thrilled. Zimmer now married to Carr, for better or worse. Gronk and ASJ...who needs wide recievers......
I thought that was a pretty fair thought out round by the fans, certainly as good as some of the other guesses out on the web. You could pretty much justify every pick. I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of these players ARE selected by the teams if they are available. However, the combine will probably change some people's minds.
Well...shall we keep this thing rollin? Yep.Round 2 - pick 1(#33) - Houston Texans - Dee Ford - DE/OLB - AuburnPass rush overkill? Maybe...obviously if they were desperate for a QB, then they would have taken one at #1. Instead they opted to take the best player available. Here, they did the same. With the drafting of Dee Ford, expect Brooks Reed to be moved inside with Cushing. Ford represents the best value on the board here. There are more pressing needs at QB and possibly DT, but with this pick, the Texans may have just given themselves the best pass rush/front 7 in the league.
Round 2- pick #34Washington Redskins select CB Loucheiz Purifoy. After not having a selection in the first round they will be looking for best player available in a position of need and they way they operate will most likely take this guy with this pick.
Round 2- pick #35 The Cleveland Browns select S Haha Clinton-Dix from AlabamaThe fact that Dix has fallen this far is crazy, crazy value for the Browns that is.
Pretty realistic so far....
36. Jacksonville Jaguars - Scott Crichton DE - Oregon State They want Clowney but Bradley finally gets a pass rusher at the top of R2.
Don't the Raiders have pick #36? If so:36) Oakland Raiders - Antonio Richardson - OT, TennesseeRaiders get a tackle to bookend with Jared Veldheer. Johnny Manziel will have 2 very talented tackles to protect him.
37) Atlanta Falcons - Aaron Donald - DT, Pittsburgh
38. Tampabay - QB - Jimmy GaroppoloI'm not completely sold on Glennon, but still think the Bucs need to offer some further competition. I really like Garoppolo here (I'm assuming we address our DL in FA).Note: I'd have liked to trade down here, or picked a QB in the 3rd, but with no 3rd round pick, we need to address the QB position with some real competition.
