The Washington Redskins announced that they would retain defensive backs coach Raheem Morris on Thursday. Morris spent the previous two seasons coaching defensive backs under Mike Shanahan. Shanahan was fired after the 2013 season ended, with the Redskins recently hiring former Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden. Morris, who was the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009-2011, was hired by Washington before the 2012 season. The Redskins also announced that Jacob Burney was being retained to coach the defensive line. In addition, the Redskins hired Kirk Olivadotti to coach inside linebackers. Olivadotti, who coached inside linebackers at the University of Georgia the past two seasons, re-joins the Redskins after 11 years with the franchise before the 2011 season.
