Just a short note to recognize the 75th anniversary of one of the most world shifting events of our nation's history, and thank the all too-few remaining warriors who served during that era.
If anyone has family or friends who served in WWII, I highly encourage you to glean any memories of their service while they remain with us- provided they are willing. Once these men are lost, the history, stories and lessons learned are lost as well. History books and Wikipedia are no replacement for the visceral education these souls can provide.
All the best...
