Yo, I so sick of people treating Marky Mark Dominick like he a wounded puppy dog. And you don't hear nothing about Dom from PR or the media cuz I guess he be there "source." I still scratching my head over that one cuz if that is true then your "source" giving you some bad info man based on the stories I seen here this year. I keep hearing people saying we should keep Dom and Greg Schiano. People be saying, "The team is playing hard for Schiano. Dom is a good guy and is improving."Man, you all need a heavy dose of reality. Here is a little reminder of how bad we've been over the past 5 seasons. I'm just going to keep posting this 'til reality slap some of you all in the face.Regular Season Records since 2009New England: 60-19 (75.6% winning percentage) New Orleans: 54-25 (69.2%)Green Bay: 53-25-1 (69.2%)Baltimore: 50-29 (64.1%)Atlanta: 49-30 (62.8%)San Francisco: 48-30-1 (61.5%)Pittsburgh: 48-31 (60.2%)Indianapolis: 47-32 (58.9%)Denver: 45-34 (56.4%)San Diego: 45-34 (56.4%)Chicago: 44-35 (56.4%)Cincinnati: 43-36 (53.8%)Seattle: 42-37 (53.8%)New York Giants: 42-37 (52.6%)Philadelphia: 42-37 (52.6%)Dallas: 41-38 (51.2%)New York Jets: 41-38 (51.2%)Houston: 39-40 (50%)Arizona: 38-41 (47.4%)Miami: 35-44 (44.8%)Tennessee: 35-44 (43.5%)Minnesota: 34-43-1 (44.8%)Kansas City: 34-45 (43.5%)Carolina: 34-45 (42.3%)Detroit: 29-50 (37.1%)Oakland: 29-50 (37.1%)Buffalo: 28-51 (34.6%)Tampa Bay: 28-51 (35%)Washington: 28-51 (35%)Jacksonville: 26-53 (33.3%)St. Louis: 23-55-1 (29.4%)Cleveland: 23-56 (29.4%)Not only are we in the gutter in the NFL, we also be only one of 8 teams (Buffalo, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Miami, Oakland, St. Louis and Tennessee) that hasn't been to one playoff game since 2009..I don't get it man. Why all the excuses for Marky Mark? I agree dat he seems like he is a nice guy but dude isn't cutting it as our GM. And why should he get more time to learn on the job? Dom was surrounded by some of the best front office people in the NFL (McKay, Angelo, Webster, Ruskell, Allen, etc.) for years. No playoff appearances. We have the same number of wins as Buffalo and only two more than Jacksonville over the past 5 seasons. No franchise QB. No consistent pass rush. That is pathetic. Sorry but I aint settling for mediocrity and you shouldn't neither. Cant believe PR refuses to write anything that suggest Dominick could/should be gone. PR had no problem writing hit pieces on Schiano, but I guess Marky Mark and Josh Freeman are there boys so they aint going to write nothing bad about them. Man, I aint sure what is worse, our total # of wins over the past five seasons or PR's credibility lately. I am a disgusted Bucs fan. There are some huge games in Week 17 with playoff implications. And we aint playing for the playoffs. We been out of the race since October. That is despicable man.
I place less blame on mark than I do the glazers. They ok'ed all these guys we see before us, and seem pretty apathetic when it comes to supporting their very own team.
I agree with All Eyez for the most part. The other aspect of this is the draft. He sucked at the draft. The draft didn't get better until Schiano got here. So, I think between him (Schiano) and the cat they brought over from Seattle last year, they are finally drafting better. Before that the draft has been nothing but a big hot mess. He has brought in decent UDFA's and waiver wonders, but I see that more of a scouting dept thing.
Blow the whole damn thing up. The blame lands on everyone, from the players, to the coaches, the front office and ends with the Glazers. Sadly, we can't get rid of the Glazers. Selling would likely be a relocation, so I'm just hoping they make better decisions in the future.

I agree dawg. The Glazers are more to blame than anybody but they aint going nowhere anytime soon (unfortunately). I wish they'd sell to Eddie DeBartolo.
Been through this time and again. A GM is judged by the talent level of the roster and the condition of the the salary cap. FA contracts, draft picks, resigning the right guys and letting the wrong ones walk. That is his job. There is plenty there to debate and count againts Dom negatively without reaching for the win/loss argument. He is not a coach. He is not a coordinator. He doesn't prepare the players. He doesn't make game plans. He isn't calling plays or making any sort of impact on gameday. He doesn't do any of these things and he doesn't pick the men who do. Judging a GM by the win/loss record alone is asinine.

Yo, so am I not supposed to give credit to or criticize a restaurant manager cuz he aint the one waiting on tables or cooking in the kitchen?
All Eyez, you're completely right. MD has done some good things while he's been here. I've liked the drafts recently and I like the way he builds player contracts to keep us out of cap hell. I think he's learned a lot and he's gotten better in the time he's been here. But the truth is, this is why NFL means "Not For Long". This entire business is about what have you done for my lately. I've worked in sales, and I'm a pretty good salesperson. But when you don't perform, you lose your job. It's not personal, it's business.MD hasn't done his job well enough or consistently enough. I like him a lot, but it's time to go in a different direction.
Why does this clown have so many idiotic supporters? The franchise has been a bottom feeder under him and even year 6 doesn't look very promising.

While you make a fair argument, it breaks down a bit on one simple fact. He picked Greg Schiano.
No it breaks down to the fact that we are going to finish with 4 or 5 wins in year 5 of his rebuild and not many are expecting much for next year either. It's a QB league we don't have one.
Freeman was really his only chance so far to grab a franchise QB...he looked like he would be that in 2010 and parts of 2012. So it is hard to blame him for that. He has been pretty inconsistent in the draft, but has vastly improved over the last 2 years. The last 2 years have been the best drafts we have had since like 95. I am willing to keep give him chances as long as we keep stockpiling talent...we need a better coaching staff...I am sorry this is not a 4-12 roster.
Without an above average QB it's not much more than a 7-8 win one.
I got to agree with jd on this one. Gameday is why we're losing, not money issues or fa's not being signed.Outside of gameday, our team looks pretty good..on paper of course.

In the past and for many years, I bought into the hype. This franchise is just plain bad right now. Free agency and the draft always get me excited but right now I'm just frustrated. When the team started off 0-8 I was blown away. This has been a very long and strange season. It reminds me a lot of Raheem's final season in which it was very difficult to watch the games.I don't know how this mess will be fixed but the light at the end of the tunnel just feels like a train right now. I hope the Bucs hit a homerun with their draft picks this year. There is little room for error and many holes to fill.
