they don't even have a coach yet lol
That's fine.. They're just going to roll without one. It's the Browns
Manziel to coach Browns
I'm sure the owner of the Houston Texans LOVES Manziel now too.
I think he goes to the Browns.
Denver's OC pulled supposedly isn't interested in their coaching vacancy. I wonder if that has anything to do with management there making it clear that they wanted Manziel? I personally don't put much stock into this report. They could actually be in love with TB or Bortles, and trying to entice someone else to trade up for Johnny so they have a better chance of getting their guy. Or the Browns could be that dysfunctional.
They have no reason to bluff. They have 2 1st 2nd and 3rd rounders. They could trade both 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder and wouldn't have to give up any future picks, get Manziel and still have an extra 3rd rounder this year. They are loaded with picks. If the Browns were really smart they would build the OL with all those picks instead of drafting a QB that they have no means to protect. Then again. This is why they call them the Brown stains.

but they have a GM.....and its his job to provide talent for the coach.
Browns are silly gooses.
bs

The Browns actually have an above average offensive line. They NEED a QB to feed Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron the football. They could certainly use a #2WR and a slot WR. I think they go QB and Evans in the same draft.

I disagree, there's always a reason to bluff. If they want to keep most of their picks and still get the player they want, then they should talk up some other player and hope someone ahead of them scoops that player up. Just increasing the odds that their real target will be there.
Anyone turning down a HC job is retarded. I don't care what team is it.
Hoyer was looking really good. Even Campbell looked good in about half the games he played. My idea of building a team is with a dominant OL. That's what I would do but they have bigger issues they have no offense. Norv Turner is gone and Chud is gone. I don't know what they're thinking but they have burned too many bridges at this point. They'll have to hire a college coach at this point.

If I could wait a year and stay a coordinator on a good team, I would do that over taking an HC job for a shitty organization.

Agreed. But, wouldn't it be better to wait and see who the HC is first to help with determining what prospects would fit the HC's system?
