Truth is starting to come out about the Schiano Crew!
If I were him, I'd delete all social networking accounts and live in the gym. This coming off-season will dictate whether he gets a 2nd contract in the league and slamming a former coach (warranted or not) will not endear you to any coaches or front office.
Wouldn't be surprised if Lovie cuts his fat ass...
Hey MC, if this is as it appears - the Lovie courtship has been in the works for a while so is it plausible to think he may already have evaluated personnel from afar? Not sure if this would open the lid on something best kept under wraps but just curious...
Hard to say, but it is possible. You would have to think at the very least the Glazers has a short list and moves swiftly.
If the Tedford as OC rumor is true, think it is a huge mistake bringing in an unproven NFL play caller to supplement a HC who has a proven track record of offensive inefficiency. Would much rather have a proven NFL OC that has had success at this level and Tedford be the QB coach.
Would you rather have some retread like Olsen or another QB coach like Sullivan ?? I wouldn't. Tedford has a great scheme.
Bowers is a female dog for making weak comments like that.Blaming S? Guy was a terrible coach. But DQB is a terrible football player.Period.

Given the options you have given me: a retread with a track record of success in the NFL i.e. Norv Turner
Lance Briggs ?@LanceBriggs 15mBig congrats to Lovie Smith. Wish him the best of luck in Tampa. NFL is better with him in it.
Tedford has a great scheme.
Enlighten me...what is his great scheme? WCO?
@hardynickerson Great hire by the #Bucs in Coach Lovie Smith. Very excited for him!
That didn't take long. If he is bringing in a good OC, then I think he's a solid pick. Get the right GM in here, and let the coach and GM make the decisions (not Huey, Louie, and Dewey), and we should see winning football pretty quickly. We still have talent depth issues, and need to fix the o-line and edge rush, but I think he can get it done here. Certainly no mystery as to what we are getting.
Spread formations. Quick reads.
