Another stupid hire. I can't believe the Glazer's aren't learning anything.

::)
We will see if it's a bad hire or not. As a Buc fan I certainly hope it's a good one. Welcome to TB Lovie!
@PatYazESPN: Hearing that Rod Marinelli, not Leslie Frazier, will be Lovie Smith's DC.
Interesting
Clearly this was negotiated before the Schiano firing. This tells us the Glazers feel the defense is the problem, not the offense, otherwise the Lovie hire doesn't make much sense. I kind of like the thought of Marinelli coming back if that's true as our D-line really needs all the help it can get.
if the O wasnt the issue Sully would stay

You live in a very strange little world if that statement makes sense to you

So if our offense is the problem, you'd fix it by hiring a guy with a track record of putting horrible offenses out on the field?

Lovie wasn't hired because he is a defensive coach. He was hired because he is a proven commodity, is a steady hand, and the Glazers have first hand experience working with him.

Oh.....and he was available.
I agree, he was a "name" coach, I just hope it works out. And I really hope we don't draft a QB, especially Manziel.
Great, it took them less than a week to erase the joy from Monday.It's the 2nd of Jan, the first playoff game hasn't even happened yet and I've already lost hope & interest in next season, that has to be a record.Bravo, Glazers but at least you got a guy you know & trust, that's what counts right? ::)

Oh okay. Bye, then.

Did what you want to read or what?Where in that post did I give the lame "I'm not a fan anymore, I'm done" stuff, that was a comment about losing interest not that I was no longer a fan and had turned my back on them.If he's the guy I will root for him and the team, praying he can prove me wrong but as it stands this is an awful hire.So many people around here need to either learn how to read or not read things into posts that wasn't actually said.
