Starting in 2008 and just considering the 1st and 2nd Draft Choices the Bucs have taken:3 CB: Talib, Revis, Banks3 WR: D. Jackson, Benn, Evans2 TE: Winslow, Jenkins2 DT: McCoy, Price2 DE: Clayborn, Bowers1 QB Freeman1 SS: Barron1RB: Martin1 LB L. DavidThere are probably many ways to build a winning team, but the absence of OL seems to be linked to our QB's being under pressure a lot.As a contrast, Seattle who is one of the best teams has:LT, 1st round; LG, 1st round; C, 2nd round, RT 2nd round.Seattle has Four 1st round and Three 2nd round on offense and one 1st round and one 2nd round on Defense.Today board members talk of drafting a DE early next year.I'd rather concentrate on the OL.During a 6 game stretch in 2010 when Freeman was on and we had one of the better OL's, and the Bucs were one of the leaders on offense, the Bucs were exciting to watch. Before that and after that watching the Bucs has left something to be desired.
