Revis' salary is not prohibiting us from signing more players. We are NOT against the cap and still have room to spend.It's not your money, so wo cares?

Why would you guys want to create a big hole in our secondary for less compensation than we originally gave up? Do you remember what our pass defense looked like in 2012? Do we suddenly win games by having cap space? How colossally stupid.

You're underestimating the effect of a good coach. Lovie can take the talent we have and turn us into a playoff team. It's been done before. Our chances of it happening significantly lower without Revis.

And this the root of everyone who is pro-Revis. For some reason it's popped into your heads that big names, big contracts = wins. In the late 2000s people complained about not spending money was reason we weren't making the playoffs, but the real reason was we weren't drafting well. So 2012 and 2013 we break the bank and guess what? Still no playoffs. Why? Because we weren't drafting well. Now we're sitting here missing a premium pick in one of the deepest drafts in recent memory with perhaps the worst salary structure in the NFL and I'm supposed to be happy?2012 and 2013 we broke the bank and hired a high school equipment manager to lead the new talent. We can gain more cap space and acquire more draft picks through other means. Revis shouldn't be touched.

Yes because of his age, salary and the state of the roster. And everyone is quick to reference the Kansas City Chiefs, but they leave out they went 1-5 vs playoff teams, the 1 win being vs the Eagles without Foles.
