If and that's a big IF Revis gets traded watch the 49ers knocking on the superbowl door for three years. They have a ton of draft picks this year two 2nd and two 3rd something like three 7th round picks. Did anyone hear Herm Edwards this a.m. Talking about Bucs should trade Revis to 49ers?
Didn't see it, but doesn't Cleveland have more draft picks?
I'd be interested to see the ratio of people that support trading Revis for a higher 1st round pick and the same ones that don't believe in Glennon.
I wouldn't trade Revis unless it was a Herschel Walker type trade. And I DO NOT support Glennon as a starter, yet.

Nope. Herschel Walker trade. The Herschel Walker trade was the largest player trade in the history of the National Football League. It involved 18 players and draft picks. The trade was made on October 12, 1989, between the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings. The trade:Minnesota Vikings receivedRB Herschel WalkerDallas's 3rd round pick - 1990 (54) (Mike Jones)San Diego's 5th round pick - 1990 (116) (Reggie Thornton)Dallas's 10th round pick - 1990 (249) (Pat Newman)Dallas's 3rd round pick - 1991 (68) (Jake Reed)Dallas Cowboys receivedLB Jesse SolomonLB David HowardCB Issiac HoltRB Darrin Nelson (traded to San Diego after he refused to report to Dallas)DE Alex StewartMinnesota's 1st round pick in 1990 (21) (traded this pick along with pick (81) for pick (17) from Pittsburgh to draft Emmitt Smith)Minnesota's 2nd round pick in 1990 (47) (Alexander Wright)Minnesota's 6th round pick in 1990 (158) (traded to New Orleans, who drafted James Williams)Minnesota's 1st round pick in 1991 (conditional) - (12) (Alvin Harper)Minnesota's 2nd round pick in 1991 (conditional) - (38) (Dixon Edwards)Minnesota's 2nd round pick in 1992 (conditional) - (37) (Darren Woodson)Minnesota's 3rd round pick in 1992 (conditional) - (71) (traded to New England, who drafted Kevin Turner)Minnesota's 1st round pick in 1993 (conditional) - (13) (traded to Philadelphia Eagles, and then to the Houston Oilers, who drafted Brad Hopkins)

Ok thanks, I wasn't aware it was "of that scope." But, TBH, I would still prefer some teams whole draft slate, over players and multi year draft picks.
Well this got squashed today according to Roy Cummings :) revis is a buc for life! Well at least the next 5 years hopefully lol

You mean that thing about playing man? As if Revis has a patent on that...
Dont know if this has been posted yet... but Roy Cummings says that Lovie plans to use a lot of man coverage with this defense and that there is no way Revis is traded. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1975899-roy-cummings-lovie-smith-plans-to-play-man-to-man-no-way-he-trades-revis What it appears these rumors amount to is a couple of teams thought that because of the new regime here that there might be some interest in moving Revis. Ultimately it does not appear as though those inquiries even progressed to the point of making an offer. Now can a team call up and blow our socks off with an offer we can't refuse? Sure. But unless that happens, I seriously doubt you will see any kind of trade here. The Bucs are not shopping him, and have no plans to shop him.It has been said that the foundation on defense, especially with McCoy, David, and yes Revis...is one big reason Lovie found this job attractive. That the foundation of what he wants the defense to be built around is here. And those of you that are so butt-hurt about the contract...calm down. Contracts are renegotiated all the time in this league. There is no hurry to do this now.
Last year at just about this time... John Idzik claimed he wasn't shopping Revis.

Yeah and we gave them a 1st and a 3rd. It would require AT LEAST that much for us to listen to an offer.

They don't have that 3rd yet,.. and it could drop to a 4th. But I agree. It has to be worthwhile to even consider a trade.
There is not a single person in place in Tampa Bay that chose Revis. General manager Mark Dominik and head coach Greg Schiano are gone and not too many people appear to be in Revis' corner.
Kinda harsh...
That's a crock
That article suggests the Bucs would trade Revis to the Falcons.LOL!
Wed give Revis a raise to 26 million a year before we let the Falcons have him.

How can it drop to a 4th? If we cut him?
