Its hilarious how he can defend players who make a ton of money but are below average players(Joseph, Freeman)...then want to bounce two really good players who make a ton of money(Revis, McCoy). What's next?...defending Goldson and lobbying that we trade Jackson? The Bucs aren't in a position where they will be prevented from making moves because of $....so $ doesn't matter.

Freeman isn't below average, Chace. He's thrown 80 touchdowns in his career. 80. How many has your boy Revis thrown?Exactly.

Revis and McCoy make obscene money. I can live with McCoy because of his age, but Revis has got to go. And Jackson has to go too, another win now player. 31 years old with a $12.4M cap number and trade value? Peace out bro.

So? Players who earned their money is a problem now? You want to play now with all the cheap and send them off to be winning pieces for other teams? Two Super Bowl contenders want Revis... Why? To win.I never seen cap space win a game.. Ever.
What's next?...defending Goldson and lobbying that we trade Jackson?.

Because we have #CMG?
Because we have #CMG?
of course not. because hes an aging receiver with a big contract, losing speed, and is good for at least 1 drop a game. at the same time he is still very good and could fetch a great draft pick.if he could get us a 2nd round draft pick that we could turn into a brandin cooks, or a jordan matthews...id think long and hard about it.

Because you know the outcome of those picks. Why can't he still be pretty good for us? Good receivers last pretty long. It's not like he's some RB.
Vjax is worth more to us than a 2nd rounder. He is actually more valuable than Revis, IMO.
i dont know the outcomes of those picks, which is why its just discussion and there is no right or wrong. he still can be pretty good for us, and i will certainly cheer for him. but he is a wr who sometimes struggles with separation but is great at jumpballs and 50/50s. that was great for a QB like freeman. if we have a more accurate QB, a different type of WR could be a better option longterm.

So? Players who earned their money is a problem now? Overpaid players are....big difference...You want to play now with all the cheap and send them off to be winning pieces for other teams?Nope...Just find quality players that play the defensive scheme at a high level...I'm pretty sure that are some very good DBs out there Two Super Bowl contenders want Revis... Why? To win. That's because they are closer to winning a Championship than the Bucs...the Bucs are 2 or 3 years away from contending....you wanna pay one guy 32 to 48 million dollars with no guarantee of even making the playoffs?Cornerbacks don't win Superbowls....The further away you are from the ball the less money you make....the Bucs have set the system on top of it's head...I never seen cap space win a game.. Ever. But spending money foolishly hasn't won a championship either...
I say we keep REVIS and the rest if you guys just relax. I wouldn't be shocked to see him moved. But I would be disappointed.
I say we keep him and to whoever doesn't like it.. Too bad
Teams become contenders when they have great players and great coaching. Winning football games in the NFL requires highly talented players, some of whom cost a lot.
