Give one good reason given the depth of the secondary, the lack of pass rush, and the decent amount of cap space, oh and I forgot this one, the investment made into him...the natural escalation of the salary cap...why get rid of The Island?Just....no man. Makes zero sense unless they already have a deal in place for Veldheer and Verner. I can see a trade because he has plenty of value, even at the $16M. Any team that signs him will certainly have to out bid 5-6 teams so the contract will be huge anyhow, likely with way more guaranteed money. I would find a release difficult to believe. There will be a lot of PO'd people unless the Bucs come out of the gates with a BIG and I mean BIG haul.

Should be interesting to see who we get with all that jack.We could possibly get Melton and Johnson on the D-line....plus Collins, Schwartz, and Mack on the O-line. Rebuild over 50% of both our lines in one swift move? That would use up $35M to $40M.
