I hope we stopped caring what Revis wants when he refused to restructure his contract.
The revis trade was blown out of proportion by the media. Bucs fielding offers blew up into revis being on the block. The new regime is going to field all offers to see what they can get and maybe even find out info to gauge what other teams plans are for the draft. The staff was just doing all of their homework.Nothing to see here. Besides I will flip if I have yet another jersey of a former buc. freeman, Winslow, Talib, and a couple others. Basically if I bought a jersey of a bucs player on the roster in the last 5-6 years, they are doomed to fail or leave the bucs.

Moral of the story... please buy a Stocker jersey.
I think what it boils down to is that being a great football team is about having a great team. Not one great player. I think Lovie and Licht looked and this roster and couldn't find 15 players they considered great core guys. Hell...they probably couldn't find 10. I know I can't. So when you need to completely overhaul your roster to even be competitive....you have to make tough decisions. I think they made the right decision. I just hope they make the right decisions with the money and draft picks they get from trading Revis away. Otherwise it's all for naught.

Why should he take a pay cut? He's not being greedy. His job is to play cornerback, not take pay cuts.
