No issues with that. Wouldn't be the sexiest thing in the world, but you bring in a good OC with Lovie, whether it's Chudzinski, or Kubiak, or Kyle Shanahan, and that could be a really strong staff.
NOOOOOoooooo!!!We need to look to the future rather than going to the past.McKay almost crippled this team and Smith is not a good hire at HC based on his Bears time.1 playoff trip in his last 6 seasons and an awful offense his entire run, if we wanted a garbage offense and team that doesn't make the playoffs we should have just stuck with Schiano.Smith is the most over rated HC prospect out there IMO.

After Lovie's first season, he didn't have a season worse than 7-9, and that's with guys like Rex Grossman as his QB for half his tenure. It's not sexy...but there aren't a lot of sexy names out there that the Bucs can reasonably get. They aren't getting Bill O'Brien. They aren't getting David Shaw.

I would really love to get some fresh blood in here and not try to recreate the past. But I wouldn't be too disappointed with it, just as long we get and experienced coach here.

This team needs to win, it's not always about the "sexy pick"Lovie Smith was a beast of a coach who is well respected and was a consistent winner, ok, you can knock him on his OC problems but their were reports of him studying the game more on offense for his next go around, I would be all for Lovie coming to Tampa, we need a guy like him, lets go!
