Lets say Lovie does come. Do you think he would wanna bring Cutler in?
is Cutler a UFA?
Will be. Chicago media is reporting they Bears do not want to spend the $$$ to keep him.
Cutler sucks. No way I'd sign him. Especially for the insane amount of money it would take to get him. I'd rather sign a couple of top tier O-line or D-line free agents for that much coin.I'll take my chances that Glennon can improve (especially with better O-line play) or take my chances in the draft.

Yeah he is. Still up in the air if the Bears will bring him back.

Well, if he's a UFA its up to Cutler anyway
McKay's GM duties were taken from him and given to Dimitroff. He left us in cap hell. Why would we bring him back?
See: the post above yours. We don't know how he would have handled it in the upcoming years. There are plenty of ways to get around cap problems.
ESPN reported that former Chicago coach Lovie Smith is the early front-runner for the vacant head-coaching. According to a source, if Smith gets the job, he has lined up former University of California coach Jeff Tedford to be his offensive coordinator, a source said Monday. Smith has several other coaches in mind for his staff, but getting Tedford is seen as a key for Smith, whose offensive philosophy has been questioned severely since his days with the Bears. Tedford was the head coach at Cal from 2002 to 2012. Prior to that, he spent six years at Fresno State and four years at Oregon as an offensive coordinator or quarterback coach. Between the three stops, Tedford helped develop quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Trent Dilfer, David Carr, Joey Harrington, Akili Smith and Kyle Boller. All six became first-round picks and two (Rodgers and Dilfer) have led teams to Super Bowl victories.Follow me on Twitter @JasonPhilCole http://www.twitter.com/jasonphilcole http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Lovie-Smith-has-Tedford-lined-up-as-his-OC.html Ewwwwwwww to Tedford as the OC!!!
Please tell me this is not happening. A guy who claims responsibility for David Carr, Joey Harrington, Akili Smith, and Kyle Boller? Pinch me, I'm dreaming.
Dilfer's coming back to take us to the promised land!
NO.No to this.NO.
Words cannot express how wrong McKay and Smith would be for the team. Does no one remember the debacle the Falcons were before the current GM-Coach combo was in place? Bobby Petrino ring any bells..?

you forgot Aaron Rodgers. Still, for a guy to get that many of his QBs drafted is impressive. Even if most were busts.

Trying to see the silver lining in this try to think of it as him having to be a great coach if he got those turds drafted in the first round.

So you would like the Lovie/Tedford duo?

For what it's worth the OC calls more plays. It's the Qb coach. Besides Tedford made those guys look good and then when they left they stunk it up. I'm cool with it.
