Has Florida given the NFL any good QBs?
Richardson was a guaranteed bust.
We knew Trask was ass... I'm struggle to think of any good NFL QBs.
Is Tim Tebow the best one? Lmfao

Shane Matthews was a damn good backup for many years. Grossman made it to and should have won, a super bowl. Brissett has been solid.

So no, zero good QBs.
What happens when the Falcons, Panthers or Saints bring him in?
can’t see the falcons or saints bringing him in to the active roster
would imagine canales saw enough of trask in his time to pass on him
but if he does latch on, then what? Are you suggesting we should be worried lol
I don’t think Trask is a dummy. So, worried? No. But if I was in a divisional organization, I may bring him in to see what advantage I can get from having his intel. I mean, it’s not the worst strategy.
yeah but that’s a risk for any ex player that knows the playbook
as other teams shape their rosters, have we heard any news on trask?
My best guess is, a divisional rival picks him up to get additional intel for the Grizz tweaks. They have the base offense & film, they already have an understanding.
once he clears the injury, it will be interesting to see if anyone picks him up. I’m guessing that injury/settlement won’t clear until at least after the ATL game.

im not so sure a division rival picks him up; and the Bucs obviously dont care as they didnt even put him on their practice squad.
ATL - With Penix and Cousins as 1 and 2; only keeping 2 on the roster. Easton Stick is on their practice squad; has a bit more experience than Trask given his starts in 2023. But anything is possible if they think it's worth it to stash Trask on the practice squad
CAR - Similarly the Panthers rolling with Bryce Young and Andy Dalton on the roster. Hendon Hooker on their practice squad. This may be Trask's best bet to land with a former offensive coordinator but again on their practice squad
NO - This team should be really bad but rolling with Rattler and Shough on active roster with Haener and Dekkers on the practice squad
JAX - Rolling with Lawrence and Mullens on active roster, with Seth Henigan on the practice squad. Would think this may be a potential landing spot.
Not good that teams are rounding out rosters now but he may pick up a practice squad gig throughout the season. I dont think he throws an NFL pass this year, but he is either donzo now....or donzo a year from now; my guess is a year from now
I don’t disagree that we would be worried about our offense, and whether NOLA signs our WR who wasn’t always that consistent. But if the Bucs are concerned about anything it would be that they don’t want to reveal much about their offense before the 1st game.
I’d think everyone wants a fast start, Grizz is new to playcalling so they’re going to want to give him some space to call his plays against a defensive scheme and adapt to defensive schemes and hopefully surprise ATL as much as possible. I don’t think they’re worried about NOLA, ATL is first on the list. If it were me, I’d want to give Grizz as much tactical advantage as possible for that 1st game.
While it’s the same offense with “tweaks” - they aren’t going to have a lot of their offensive weapons, early - but teams will eventually have tape on us.
I don’t think they’re trying to hurt Kyle Trask, just trying to give Grizz the best chance to beat ATL as possible.

nah that's a good point
I have never seen Kyle Trask play an entire season with the first string nor I have ever seen him play an entire preseason with the first string. So as we used to say in playoffs and other important games... rise off of my sack. Should've, Would've and Could've doesn't match up unless you put up those repetitions apples to apples. We are riding now in a time of old timers as QB's and wantabees. I don't have too much confidence with TB and I think this was a total reach for better when it's not after being way too far beyond reason and insanity.
