He's currently 29 entering his age 30 season.
Torry Holt retired at 32 and good until then
Marvin Harrison at 36 but last good season at 34
Randy Moss at 35, but last good season was at 32
Terrell Owens at 37 and was a beast up until then
Hines Ward at 35 but last good season was 34
so let's just say he plays another 5 years through age 34 season and he performs consistently at a high level, add another 5,000 yards and he jumps to #4 on the list at 15,425 behind Rice (23K), Fitzgerald (17K) will be hard to catch and Owens at 16K. Moss and Isaac Bruce are at 15k.
what is weird to me is that guys like Steve Smith Sr, retired in 2016, Reggie Wayne retired in 2014 and Andre Johnson retired in 2016 are not in the Hall of Fame are 8, 10, and 11 on the list of receiving yards with guys like Anquan Boldin and Torry Holt at 14 and 17 and they are not in the Hall of Fame. I cant be for certain but its almost like they are discounting the post 2000 players likely due to offensive driven league.
on touchdowns, let's say due to Bucs likely not being that great for the remainder of his career, he averages 7 touchdowns a season, that's 35 more to get him a total of 116. that jumps him to 7th on the list tied with Antonio Gates
not catching rice at 197, Moss or Owens at 156 and 153. Carter and Harrison are at 130 and 128.
alot of this depends on durability and how long he plays and in particular at his current level
he has done something nobody else has done to start off a career so hes making a great case. He is also great off the field which will help as well.
