I'm as tired as everyone of not drafting and developing O-Line talent, but thinking that rookies are going to come in and fix the issues we have on the O-Line quickly is false hope. There are a couple of mid range free agents that could really help our blocking, and free us to use draft picks to fill some needs we still have in defense, and where there are some good players coming out of college. Free AgencyDoug Free - OT - Dallas - Started for years at LT before flopping with Tyron Smith last year. My guess is that Dotson has a contract that pays him more if he is at LT. I would offer Doug Free a similar contract, and let them compete for the LT job. Who ever doesn't win it can start at RT.Clint Boling - RG - Cincinnati - Has quietly been one of the top Guards in the league over the last few years for the Bengals. The Bengals have plenty of money to resign him, but are also notorious for losing good players, so we'll see. Jed Collins - FB - Detroit - Came to Detroit this year from the Saints, and has really helped their running game and Joique Bell. Draft#1 Overall - Jameis Winston - QB - FSU - Keep Glennon and let them compete for the starting job in camp and preseason. 2 - Eric Kendricks - LB - UCLA - Great MLB prospect. Let him compete with Danny Lansanah to start in the middle and not come off the field in nickel. 3 - Nate Orchard - RDE - Utah - The biggest need on this team after QB is a right defensive end that can get to the QB. Orchard did it 17.5 times this year. Let him compete with Michael Johnson, and unless Michael Johnson somehow gets a lot, lot better, cut Johnson after camp (assuming his contract doesn't become guaranteed earlier for some reason)4 - Senquez Golson - CB - Ole Miss - Has 4.4 speed and had 9 picks this year. Is undersized though at 5'9", which could cause him to slip a bit. Competition and depth at CB.5 - Tyler Lockette - WR, KR, PR - KSU - One of the top returners in the nation. 6 - Zack Zenner - RB - South Dakota State7 ?
