It's smoke and mirrors season. This is the time of year for guys like Carr to suddenly "climb the board" while guys like Bridgewater drop like a rock. With the draft moved back a month, I expect the rumors and such to reach a ridiculous fever pitch in the final month.

Not surprised at all about the Bridgewater news. I honestly don't mind Bortles, Manziel or Carr...just afraid Bridgewater falls to the Bucs. Watched too many games of this guy to think he will become anything in the NFL.
I think you nailed it. Frekin Bortles is rising like a rocket. So if those QB's go early, and the Bucs are sitting there at #7 with Bridgewater available, its going to be a hell of a decision on their shoulders.Personally, I would take a guy like Mathews or Watkins at #7, or trade the pick to someone who is hot for Teddy. Its definitely going to be interestring, the night of May 8th.

Naw man. If your talking about that Teddy rumor I posted the other night, yes, that is who I got it from. The dude is a maniac. He knows lots of people around the league. He has forgot more about football, than I will ever know. He carries three I-phones around, one for NFL players, one for college players, and one for front office peeps. And he works them pretty much 24/7.I keep asking him, can I help you with partitions or whatever? He says, no, I'm good.

Agree on Carr, but I think Bortles is the real deal. I won't be surprised if he goes numero uno to the Texans. If any team in the league is going to pass on Clowney, it would most likely be the Texans, with JJ.

Easily one of the most informative posts I have seen on here in a while. Very interesting stuff to say the least. Kind of figured Albert would be a target, which would increase the chance Penn gets released. I'm a fan.
I would hate to see Penn just get released. Surely somebody would toss us a 6th for him. I'm still of the opinion we should try him at guard. If it works then great, if not we aren't out anything.
