And, he was putting up big numbers in that game WELL before the “Saints quit”.
WELL?
He ran 14 times for a 136 yards with a 36 yard run
Almost half of those runs (6) are in the LAST DRIVE, including the 36 yarder, so he total 64 yards on JUST THE LAST DRIVE, right?
That drive begins at 4:13 left in. the game. It was the THIRD touchdown drive of the 4th quarter and, importantly, follows a deflating interception for the Saints
He runs for 36, 3, 0,12, 6 and 5 in a drive where his runs are every play.
We are LITERALLY running it down the throats of a team that got some hope going into halftime but then we stopped them and scored multiple touchdowns and this last drive with Tucker comes after a INTERCEPTION, so yeah that is a lot when they had QUIT
In the post above I provide the link to the highlights (all his runs) and point out that you hear (around 1:58 of the video) Greg Olsen say "wow, you just dont see holes like this in NFL football, especially not when everyone knows its the 4 minute offense."
Thats ONE drive, the last of the game. Not discounting his ABILITY just stating the facts
This is exactly correct.
And again we both like Tucker but he got the garbage time defeated saints runs.
Bucky has the drive prior but that was imo the dagger drive. He didn't get any of the last one.
But it's splitting hairs because Tucker is the third back for a reason.
It's not a conspiracy. He's good he's just not as good as White and Bucky inside of this offense.
And for the record I have no issue giving him more snaps
What was the reason Thomas Jones was 3rd string the first 9 games of 2003? Were Pittman and Stecker just better inside of Gruden's offense? Or was Gruden just dead wrong?
We are back to Tucker = Thomas Jones.
Good luck. JC
And again we both like Tucker but he got the garbage time defeated saints runs.

He was literally 8 for 72 (9.0 ypc) and 3 for 56 with a TD all the way up to Bucky’s “dagger drive TD”.
So, even when you take out the last drive, he was superior in every single facet.
As I’ve said numerous times, if Bucky put up a game like that and then saw his snaps get cut in half the following week…there would be riots.
He needs to be a bigger part of the offense. He needs to see the field more. Especially with all the injuries.

"WELL"
You and JC are kindred spirits.
One of his catches is 30 plus yards really no defenders and Godwin in front of him
So, even when you take out the last drive,
YOU made the last drive an issue:
DH = "And, he was putting up big numbers in that game WELL before the “Saints quit”.
he was LITERALLY our 4:00 offense, beginning with a 32 yard run
if thats Irving v White you say hes running in clean up time. Cmon
this thread is a cess pool of troll bs LMAO
It should be really easy to concede that Tucker is NOT going to beat out White or Irving by catches. Full stop.
let alone in ONE game
And again we both like Tucker but he got the garbage time defeated saints runs.

Agreed with a bigger role but where? We gonna field 3 rbs?
White could line up in the slot I guess and run the wishbone?
The offense struggles when the defense allows long sustained drives from atrocious 3rd down defense... And it's compounded by have a gutless coach AND wrs from the practice squad.
The issue isn't the production from White and Bucky.
The offense struggles when the defense allows long sustained drives from atrocious 3rd down defense
In the latest example the 49ers game, with both Irving and White playing very well, the 2nd quarter is basically one drive each team because the 49ers drove for 8:14. The third quarter 7:37
Not one of the Tucker can give a credible answer about when in the game you pull White or Irving for him. They were the entire 100+ yard running performance and almost 2/3rds of the passing offense, each one making one of more BIG plays. We also LOST our all world LT, so pass pro becomes even a bigger part of it, whether because Otton is now slow coming out because of chipping or because one of them is needed.
Its a silly argument (Tucker being wrongly "iced") thats why its proponents keep moving the ball, pun intended.
"Baker Mayfield ran run plays the wrong way last year"
Agreed with a bigger role but where? We gonna field 3 rbs?
More pony looks, more utilization of 3rb sets with one lining up in the slot, etc.
There are ways. Especially with us being down 2 of our top targets.

Out of curiosity, Mr. Self-Awareness, who do you believe to have the most posts in this "cess pool of troll bs LMAO" thread?

You were given the answer. Speaking of giving an answer, why won't you answer my question about how Gruden handled Thomas Jones? Were Pittman and Stecker better or was Gruden just wrong?

It won't answer because it can't.
Yes, Gruden was wrong about Thomas Jones. Coaches can be wrong about players. But what about Maurice Stovall, Luke McCown, Davin Joseph, Jeremy Trueblood, Josh Freeman, Kevin Pamphile, Adam Humphries, Scotty Miller, and any number of other JC All Stars? You equally gushed about all of these players, but you weren't right about any of them.
Again, I like Tucker well enough, but your hyperbole is getting the best of you.
