Biggs, can we get a breakdown of White’s 3.3 ypc and game losing fumble? Thanks

Absolutely:

3.3 > 0.0

White: 1 fumble every 63 touches

Tucker: 1 fumble every 48 touches

You're welcome.

is that 2 fumbles in back to back games for White?

dont get me wrong, he is the better pass catching back so he should have been out there but he likely should start to lose those opportunities since Bucky can catch as well

White clearly has lost the rushing role at running back.  If he can learn to protect the football, he could be a decent third down back.  Think he needs to lose some snaps next week and work on securing the football

White was holding that ball out so foolishly. Frustrating.

But why isn't Bucky out there. Coen and Bowles need to have answers because it's inexcusable.

And for as exhausting as JC is and has been...and how wrong he often is...

He's 100% correct that Coen could have run us right into a victory today but instead multiple times got cute inside their 40 and it was a disaster.

He was, and then he put two hands on the ball protecting it. And then, as he was getting tackled, he inexplicably took his second hand off of the ball to stiff-arm his tackler. The dude ripped it out as soon as White took his second hand off.

He has to protect the football better. No excuses.

Because of pass pro. At least, that's why Irving's not at halfback in two-minute situations. But as I've said repeatedly, Coen needs to do better with getting them both on the field together - especially with the WR's dropping with injuries.

How did we score 51 on the Saints if White is so important. You know, the game he missed and Tucker and Bucky combined for 300 yards!

How did we score 40 points on the #1 overall defensive scoring team is Chris Godwin is so important?

These are the reflections of a simpleton.

That would be a solid analogy if Shephard had 192 yards and a 2 TDs. But no, that was Tucker.

We've seen the offense without White. Everyone needs to stop pretending, stop trying to save the draft investment in White, it's over. He's holding this offense back and has two fumbles that might cost us the division.

Agreed both need to be out there but Zimmerman was fooling Coen/Baker with his blitzes at the line all night and this was a strategy to keep Bucky off the field.

I know that White picks up blitzes better because of his frame but Coen fell for the overload blitz packages over and over... It made him abandon the run and get tricked into leaving White blocking nothing at times.

He's not holding the offense back lol. He has a skillet that is very viable as evident but him having 9 TDs

Dallas would have destroyed Bucky AND Tucker in the 3rd & 4th quarter. White is the 2 minute back because he’s able to contribute in pass protection neither Bucky nor Tucker have been anywhere near consistent enough at that to put them on the field. Add to it White’s phenomenal contribution in the screen game - heck he was even split out WIDE last night. The blitz was coming and our o-line needed help. Payne Durham was OK as a pass option, but nowhere near as effective blocking, so Coen had do choice but to go to max protect.

Dallas defense played lights-out, up front and in the secondary. Parsons got caught on one screen, after that he was the first to react every time we ran one, even if we had him blocked out of the play. We never had a lead, so we could only run to keep the defense off-balance. They played our game against us, and they kept the pressure on, amped it up even in the 4th.

Total team loss - but Coen & Baker were still able to keep it close. In the end the Dallas D shut our offense down.

JMac losing that ball in the end zone gave me the insight on the game - neither Mike nor Chris would not have lost that ball.

This argument only makes sense if you think they both can't be on the field.

With Dallas blitz happy, Coen should have been dialing up quick passes and screens

White- 545 Snaps, 188 touches, 972 yards, 9 TDs, 4.2 ypc

Irving/Tucker- 518 snaps, 257 touches, 1,597 yards, 10 TDs, 5.6 ypc

How is this even a discussion? White needs to be phased out the rest of the season. Let these two backs take us on a run behind this OL. Not let Baker and White piss the season away.

how dare you say that about The Man, according to Coen.  Oh  . .wait . . "coach speak."

Well damn, "street clothes?"

Now do White/Bucky vs Tucker.

I'm cracking up with you putting Tucker on Bucky's shoulders for stats.

My whole argument is that White is the distant third back. We have evidence of what the offense looks like without White: Irving and Tucker combined for 300 yards
