"1. James Wilder (Two – 1984, 1985)
2. Doug Martin (Two – 2012, 2015)
3. Ricky Bell (1979)
4. Errict Rhett (Two – 1994, 1995)
5. Cadillac Williams (2005)
6. Reggie Cobb (1992)
7. Warrick Dunn (Two – 1998, 2000)
8. LeGarrette Blount (2010)
9. Bucky Irving (2024)
Now that he’s crossed over the 1,000-yard mark, Irving will now look to rise up the ranks of the Bucs’ all-time single-season rushing leaders. He appears likely to finish in the top 10, as he is nearing the 1,026 yards that Warrick Dunn ran for in 1998.
Irving is also primed to become the third-leading rookie rusher in franchise history, as he’s likely to surpass LeGarrette Blount (1,007 yards in 2010) and Errict Rhett (1,011 in 1994) soon."
My two Ducks on the list, making me proud.
I'll never understand why we let Blount go and drafted Martin in the first. Hated that move then and still hate it.
I'll go ahead and say it. Our RB room is top 5 in the league right now. Look at TD production, which suffers because we have 40+ TDs through the air. Look at yards per carry. Yards on first down. We haven't had a RB room like this, maybe ever. Let's focus on getting better, not on jerking off the Dunn/Alstott Gods.
Ata time when running is back in style in the NFL
One of the very few things in which I agree with JC is the Bucs need to focus on getting Irving and Tucker as the one-two punch of the running game. White has his moments, but I think Tucker needs more of his carries during the upcoming season. I don't think White is aggressive enough getting to the hole; he moves laterally more than he does downhill.

I agree, of course
Something need to give one way or the other. Either Tucker get better in pass pro and receiving or White start hitting the hole more consistently.
White is the kind of player that the Bucs could easily trade, but then regret trading him later if Irving goes down. I didnt see any signs last season the Bucs think Tucker was up to that role or the role of 3rd down back. Maybe things change
One would think that the RB coach has explained to Tucker what he needs to do in order to get on the field. If he's even somewhat professional, he'd be working on pass pro and catching the ball during the offseason. They do need downtime to recover, but you would think they have the time to work on these issues since they don't really have 9 to 5s pinning them to a desk between Jan-Jul.
If the Bucs felt Tucker was ready for the full role they might trade White when the time is right.
TAMPA, Fla. — The FBI is investigating an extortion attempt against Rachaad White, lawyers for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back said Tuesday.
“The FBI and other appropriate authorities are currently looking into an extortion attempt against Rachaad White,” attorneys Michelle Gervais and TJ Grimaldi said in a statement. “Illegal and defamatory threats and demands against Rachaad and his family will be met with zero tolerance. We will continue to exercise all legal avenues to protect Rachaad’s rights as a victim of extortion.”

Damn, JC, you really need to let it go.

No. The Buc’s aren’t going to trade White.
What's astounding is we've seen what a Bucky and Tucker backfield looks like without White. They combined for 297 total yards, 3 TDs and 7.8 ypc and we scored 51 points. But Bucs fans and media still want to hang on to White in a role above Tucker. If the Bucs are going to get over the hump they have to run the ball more in the body of the game, better at the end of games and tougher at the goal line. That means less White. Tucker and Bucky should be RB1a and RB1b just the Saints game. Trade White for a Day 3 pick, draft a RB in this good class and control him for cheap for 4 years.

Seems like the coaching staff does too. You know, the ones who actually make the decisions.
As a former NFL GM, I figured this would be an elementary concept for you.

I wouldn't even have a problem with Bucky/Tucker as 1a and 1b and trading White etc. But it still doesn't change anything.
White is still a better all around PLAYER than Tucker.
I like Tucker. I think most of us like him...
But my god you're making it really hard with your homerism.
