I never complained about the Chargers carries

This is pure bullshit.

Not the entire game, just the first half.

LMAO.  JC, you don't know the meaning of the word "never?"

Never complained about Tucker's carries at the end of the game.

White's receiving skills don't move the needle.

JC your trolling is going from bad to worse.

White split snaps with Irving and he was still probably in the top 10 in receiving yards by an RB? His 6 receiving TDs maybe somewhere near the top of RBs for 2024? His receiving production maybe about 10-15% of the Bucs entire passing offense? From the RB position.

And that leaves out the key part when it comes to comparing him to Emmitt Smith  . . . er Tucker . . . when White was in the Bucs had the versatility to go with any play because he could run, he could catch and he could pass pro.

I wonder if the Bucs offense would be able to survive without White's versatility? If he ever got injured and missed a game I'm afraid of what would happen to the offense!

You cried like an effeminate little bitch throughout the entire gameday thread.

You were actually deleting Coen-bashing posts in realtime, as Liam and Baker bent over the Chargers secondary.

Lying clown…

Not the entire game, just the first half…

You went from “never complained” to “just the first half”.

Didn’t need you to do it, but thanks anyways for confirming you were full of shit.

Oh, and are you referring to the 2nd half, where Baker threw for 3 TD’s?

This was the same game where White scored a TD, while averaging 4.3ypc and where Tucker averaged 2.4ypc against UPS drivers?

P.S. - You were still deleting rage posts well into the 2nd half, you fucking clown. Receipts.

You keep back pedaling.

With DH . . "I NEVER complained" to "just the first half."  And now "White's receiving skills dont move the needle" the Bucs offense can survive without him (what a glowing affirmative endorsement of Tucker).

You have a Biggs-level inability to acknowledge you were wrong.

Ok that's it I'm done. JC is just debating to debate.

White can't run and his receiving skills aren't important.

Having 1k yards and 10 TDs sucks.

He's made zero critical plays, Coen is to blame also, Tucker is a great RB, Bowles is an under rated HC, and the defense carries the offense.

Check mate.

Thanks for the lost brain cells

If the defense could force turnovers or more punts they can use a big back like Tucker to run the ball more and close out the games.  But the defense was underwhelming last season which is why the team could not run the ball as much or use that to protect leads.

I wouldn't be upset if the Bucs choose to  . . . put Merriweather/Izien next to Winfield Jr

Never thought about it like that. Now I understand how the offense had that -14 yard drive inside the 2 minute warning after the David INT. Thanks for the clarification.

The battle of the cherry pickers!!

Britt is an average NFL starter who benched White . . .versus . . . one series from the season

I am talking about an entire season which is why Tucker will see less playing time to close out games if the defense can't stop anyone or force more turnovers/punts.

For the Bucs to run the ball more and use Tucker to close out games you need the offense to build larger leads, special teams to flip field position and the defense to force/stop turnovers.

It is a team game so that ishy it is hard to gauge the Bucs units when they were so erratic last year.  The offense despite injuries were playing at a high level most of the time.  Hard to say what the outcome of games would have been if the Bucs had a competent punter or edge rusher/CB throughout the season on hand.  But that is why you build depth and develop.

That is why improving the defense isn't enough.  Have to improve the offense and to have the punter booming kicks and coverage units ready to shut down returners.

For the Bucs to take the next step up to close out games with a back like Tucker and/or Irving you need the Bucs to be very good all phases of the game.  Defensive play calling and poor punting just made things worse when the injuries started to pile up on offense and defense.

In JCs world the RB stats are driven SOLELY by the RB and the OC, not by the way the game plays out (ie what you are correctly describing). Ironic, because  JC always frames Tucker in terms of the NO game . . . where he is in that mop up role

Bucs had 12 possessions up one score in the 4th qtr. Here is the carry distribution.

Bucky- 21 carries, 116 yards, 5.5 ypc

White- 15 carries, 34 yards, 2.3 ypc

Tucker- 4 carries, 70 yards, 17.5 ypc

White should be exiled to Duuuuuuvvvvaaaaaaaaallllllllll
