When we played them again Irving had 4 carries for 36 yards at halftime. We don’t run the ball enough. Not nearly enough.
Actually the problem in this game was that Todd Bowles vaunted defense gave up 7 carries for 55 yds and 2 tds to a backup qb. LMAO
Yeah, he is more a slasher. I like Tucker and all things considered, if they went with a Tucker/Bucky/Gainwell tandem, its probably going to be relatively successful. Those guys are all different in their own way. I am a bit concerned about the blocking aspect and that tandem.I would like for us to have a bruiser type running back to compliment Bucky. Not sure who would be out there that could fit that mold or even if it fits what Robinson will do offensively, but I think teams that have a pretty solid combo of both power and speed tend to give the other defenses more trouble and can make significant impact to help the passing game.
For now Tucker is the "bruiser" but in all honesty he is more of a slasher. But yeah a bruising back is a better compliment to the current RB stable.
Do the Bucs keep Josh Williams as a the 4th RB seeing KG has taken away his niche? Wright and Wiley are more of the same really.
